The Houseperson's primary responsibility is to respond to Owner and Guest needs. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor and is an integral part of the Quality Assurance team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assures that front desk is stocked with linens, towels, and guest amenities.
- Pleasantly and efficiently responds to general guest requests : for example, extra towels, replacement of housewares, etc.
- Will make deliveries to guest rooms and interact with guests during delivery of requested items.
- Performs minor maintenance duties on occasion.
- Will inspect units for quality and cleanliness.
- Oversees performance of night-time janitorial services.
- Acts as Resort carpet technician for emergency cleaning of carpets and upholstery.
- Launders linens for in-house inventory as needed
- Performs quarterly inspection of all bedding.
- Assists in training of new associates.
- Performs special assignments and projects as requested.
- Adheres to all work rules, safety procedures, and policies established by the management company, including, but not limited to, those contained in the Employee Handbook.
- Indirectly contributes to the Resort’s profits by maintaining all units in high quality condition.
- Interacts heavily with Front Desk, Maintenance, and Housekeeping departments.

REQUIRES SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PRE-EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND CHECK.
Must be available to work Evenings, Weekends, Holidays as scheduled.
