This is a PM Shift Position.
This is a Non-Exempt Position
Laundry Attendant will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Specific Responsibilities:
To process large amounts of laundry by delivering and picking it up, and separating, washing, drying, folding, and distributing.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Cleaning lint compartment twice daily.
- Clean and maintain work areas.
- Sort dirty linens.
- Load, use and unload washers.
- Load, use and unload dryers.
- Pre-sorting linens in order to locate and salvage stained or torn items.
- Recording counts for discarded linens.
- Loading and commercial washers and dryers.
- Folding and stacking towels, sheets and other linens.
- Cleaning the laundry and organizing storage areas.
- Reporting equipment problems to maintenance.
- Responsible for the pickup of dirty linens and drop-off of cleans ones.
- Provide towel service to Pool area
- Conducts Linen inventory.
- Examines laundered items to ensure cleanliness.
- May perform other duties by cleaning, dusting and taking out the trash.
- Sweep and mop laundry room and employee hallway.
- Other duties as assigned by management and deem necessary for the successful operation of the resort.
Position Requirements (Skills/Abilities):
This position is responsible for ensuring that all linens and towels are clean according with production goals.
Experience:
One year experience in Hospitality or related industry.
Education: High School diploma or GED required. or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee is required to use his/her hands and fingers to feel, and reach for objects of various sizes, shapes and weight. The employee will occasionally be required to climb a step ladder or balance and, to talk, hear and/or smell.
The employee must regularly push, pull, lift and/or move up to 10-25 lbs. And occasionally push, pull, lift and/or move 50 or more pounds with assistance. Specific Vision abilities required for this job include Close vision, Distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus in various settings. Good Customer Service skills are a must.

This position is highly visible in all resort areas, team members must present a clean professional appearance and must adhered to Daily Management, Inc., Local Standard Operating Procedures – Standards of Appearance.
