The PM Maintenance Technician is an hourly position.
The PM Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Sr. Maintenance Director.
Specific Responsibilities :
This position is responsible for providing assistance in the operations of the resort : including maintenance, repair of resort property, outside grounds, resort equipment, preventative maintenance and asset protection. Follows Daily Management, Inc. and Gold Crown Resort high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction, cleanliness and safety
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Maintenance : Learns and demonstrates the ability to maintain property assets. Works with the Maintenance Director to understand preventive maintenance, equipment repairs and routine inspections. Learns the impact of maintaining company assets and how it impacts the overall financial success of the resort.
- Guest Service : Assists and responds to guest requests in a friendly and positive manner, while providing the highest level of service. Ability to assist guests by having knowledge of the resort, guest room repairs and common area maintenance. Personally, sets a strong example for other team member through exceptional guest service.
- Identifies concerns and provides maintenance solutions : Assesses and evaluates property assets through preventative maintenance. Works with appropriate managers in a respectful and courageous manner to recommend maintenance service solutions.
- Follows Daily Management, Inc., standard operating procedures : Works with the Maintenance Director to learn, understand and execute on all maintenance procedures.
- Works collaboratively with all others : Works as a team player in meeting guest needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments when necessary. Completes all assigned duties inside or outside the normal scope of responsibilities within the maintenance department.
- Works safely : Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with Daily Management, Inc. local, state and federal regulations. Uses personal protective equipment when needed. Follows all Daily Management, Inc. procedures for guest / associate incidents. Knowledgeable of the resort’s emergency procedures.
- Self-Management : Produces required volume of work by planning, organizing and prioritizing work duties as presented by the Maintenance Director. Adheres to Daily Management, Inc. attendance policy, general work rules and department procedures. Attends all required department and resort meetings.
Position Requirements (Skills / Abilities) :
Experience :
2 years of maintenance experience is preferred. Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment.
Education : High School diploma or GED required. Appliance repair certification is desired, or the ability to obtain certification based on property needs.
Flexible Scheduling :
Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
Physical Demands :
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee is required to use his / her hands and fingers to feel, and reach for objects of various sizes, shapes and weight.
The employee will occasionally be required to climb a step ladder or balance and, to talk, hear and / or smell.
The employee must regularly push, pull, lift and / or move 10-25 lbs. And occasionally push, pull, lift and / or move 50 or more pounds with assistance. The employee must always have the maintenance cart with him / her. The cart must be stocked with the needed supplies and be in a secure location when left unattended. And the employee must also have his / her tools readily available.
Specific Vision abilities required for this job include Close vision, Distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus in various settings. Good Customer Service skills are a must, as well as general handyman skills.

This position is highly visible in all resort areas, team members must present a clean professional appearance and must adhered to Daily Management, Inc., Local Standard Operating Procedures – Standards of Appearance.
