USA TODAY is seeking an audience editor who is eager to join a fast-paced, 24 / 7 newsroom and deliver content to readers in unexpected ways. This editor will be part of USA TODAY's audience team, working on digital, mobile and social platforms. The candidate must be a self-starter, demonstrate strong news judgment, have prior digital news experience and a background in social media and building audiences.

This audience editor will lead USA TODAY's response to news and deliver it across all of our digital platforms.
They will specialize in finding a wide audience for USA TODAY's stories, photos, videos, graphics and other content, and optimize them for different social and digital platforms. This editor will also identify and publish pertinent wire articles or content from across the USA TODAY Network. Depending on the candidate's background, they could also write breaking news stories or create original social graphics.
We are looking for three (3) remote audience editors :
- Weekend audience editors (x2) who will manage core audience platforms 5 days a week - including Saturdays and Sundays.
- One evening audience editor (x1) who will promote content across social, alerts, home front and more in the evenings. This role may include weekend work.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $55,000.00 and $64,000.00. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
