What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Platform Specialist, Meta position at Daily Wire?
The Daily Wire is seeking a highly strategic and detail-oriented Platform Specialist, Meta. In this role, you’ll act as the go-to expert for your assigned platform—ensuring best-in-class publishing practices, strategic engagement, and data-driven performance optimization. You’ll play a vital role in driving audience growth, content innovation, and platform-specific excellence across the company.
\n- Stay deeply immersed in the Meta ecosystem (Facebook, Instagram), tracking feature rollouts, algorithm changes, competitor benchmarks, and emerging content trends
- Maintain internal wikis or update briefs to keep teams informed on platform updates, new tools, and evolving best practices
- Serve as the go-to expert on Meta platform strategy, community standards, and creative dos and don’ts
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics across posts and channels—CTR, watch time, completion rate, follower growth, content saves, and shares
- Deliver weekly insights reports that inform content development, engagement strategies, and overall distribution planning
- Present findings to the VP of Social and recommend data-backed adjustments, including content format shifts or engagement experiments
- Execute A/B testing on elements like headlines, posting times, thumbnails, and formats (e.g., Stories, Reels, Carousels) to drive content performance
- Lead rapid-response pivots in strategy based on algorithm changes or performance trends—testing new features or increasing publishing cadence as needed
- Own end-to-end publishing on Meta platforms—writing captions, managing creative assets, selecting optimal posting times, tagging, and ensuring consistency across channels
- Establish and enforce governance and compliance guidelines for Meta platform usage, ensuring alignment with privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical platform issues and vendor communications
- Train internal teams on Meta tools, content strategies, and platform capabilities to maximize impact and efficiency
- 2–3 years of experience managing brand channels or equivalent on a major platform (e.g., YouTube, Meta, TikTok) or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise in platform-specific analytics tools (e.g., YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite)
- Deep knowledge of platform algorithms and content formats
- Analytical mindset with A/B testing and performance refinement experience
- Excellent writing, grammar, and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-paced environment
