Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Echo Cardiographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.
Duties
- Conduct echocardiograms using ultrasound equipment
- Assist physicians in interpreting test results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during procedures
Skills
- Proficiency in echocardiography techniques
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
- Ability to assess vital signs accurately
- Experience with telemetry monitoring systems
- Strong understanding of sonography principles
- Previous experience in a cardiology or Level I Trauma Center is a plus
- Emergency medicine background would be beneficial
Requirement
- Peds experience required
- 2 years of experience required
- Float between inpatient and outpatient clinic
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- BLS required and must be on profile
- Epic experience highly preferred
