Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Assist in procedures such as cardiac catheterization and IV insertion
- Provide patient education on post-treatment care and disease management
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Cerner for documentation
- Perform aseptic techniques to prevent infections
- Care for patients across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and adults
Qualifications
- Valid RN license with a background in internal medicine
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Experience in administering injections and catheterization procedures
- Proficiency in IV insertion techniques
- Familiarity with caring for infants and toddlers is advantageous
