The Bridgeport Parts Distribution Center (PDC) is a fast paced operation which provides direct aftermarket parts and support to DTNA's dealer and distribution network. Join the Daimler family in Swedesboro, New Jersey and help "keep the world moving" through industry leading fulfillment and quality. Work alongside highly motivated individuals focused on the customer experience and continuous improvement methodologies.The Bridgeport PDC staffs approximately 110 team members including salaried exempt employees, salaried office employees and hourly warehouse employees. Operations run on two shifts between 7AM - 12AM Monday through Friday.

Position offers a starting salary range of$74,500 - $95,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive at DTNA
Coach and mentor the daily activities of a 25 - 30 hourly person team
Support and facilitate a safe and ethical working environment and culture
Promote and establish a focus on quality and providing the highest level of customer satisfaction
Coach, motivate, and develop team members to higher levels of performance.
Clarify expectations, regularly communicate, conduct performance reviews, and counselor assigned employees
Track and monitor shift, team, and individual employee performance
Continually review and analyze current state processes to identify and address areas for improvement
Oversee manpower, workload planning, training, and development of all assigned team members
Utilize assigned Team Leader(s) in Lean Principles to promote and develop a continuous improvement culture
Assist with daily operations to identify and solve problems relating to manpower, scheduling, quality, facility arrangement, and overall operations as needed on assigned shift
Knowledge You Should Bring
BA degree and 2 years of leadership experience OR6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree required
Previous leadership experience coaching & supervising employees to achieve high levels of performance and engagement required
Knowledge and application of Lean/Continuous improvement tools and principles required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office application required

Exceptional Candidates Might Have
Degree infocusSupply Chain, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics preferred
Experience in an operational environment; i.e. manufacturing, distribution, or transportation preferred
Strong customer focus and previous face time experience with customers preferred
Experience utilizing and conveying a situation with data preferred
