Inside the Role
To supervise and coordinate the HDEP Central Tool Processing (CTP) team. In this position, you will be responsible for planning and allocating manpower to support the daily production tooling demands. Support and foster a culture of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement. Drive a team to initiate problem solving to improve all KPI's impacts within your area of responsibility.

Position offers a starting salary range of $90,000 - $115,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience.

What You Drive at DTNA
Support the department metrics by establishing goals and targets for your area of responsibility.
Track and manage employee overtime and attendance records .
Be proactive and lead initiatives to improve SQDCME (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environmental metrics)
Responsible for all employee work and production records in assigned area.
Responsible for scheduling development training and adherence in assigned area.
Coordinates the resources of team and set daily priorities to meet operational objectives.
Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use tact and diplomacy to exchange information, handle sensitive issues, and translate, simplify, and clarify information for employees.
Support and facilitate a safe and ethical working environment and culture
Clarify expectations, regularly communicate through daily Shop Floor management meetings, provide ongoing performance feedback, and counsel assigned employees
Lead and support your team in Lean Principles to promote and develop a continuous improvement culture
Effectively support and follow all policies outlined in the contract, handbook, and / or policy guide
Leadership :
Coach and mentor the daily activities of direct reports
Support and facilitate a safe and ethical working environment and culture
Coach, motivate, and develop team members to higher levels of performance
Clarify expectations, regularly communicate, provide ongoing performance feedback, and counsel assigned employees
Track and monitor shift, team, and individual employee performance
Utilize assigned team leader(s) in Lean Principles to promote and develop a continuous improvement culture
Effectively support and follow all policies outlined in the contract, handbook, and / or policy guide
Knowledge You Should Bring
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience OR an associate's degree with 4 years of related experience OR 6 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Knowledge of or ability to apply Lean / Continuous improvement tools and principles
P rior experience leading teams or projects to achieve elevated levels of performance and engagement in a manufacturing or logistics setting is required
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use tact and drive issues, and translate, simplify, and clarify diplomacy to exchange information, manage sensitive information for employees is required
Must be willing and able to complete all required Supervisor training and apply learnings
Demonstrates understanding of machining process and tooling applications
Must be able to work Midnights 11 : 00pm-7 : 00AM
Must be willing to work occasional weekends.
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
Lean manufacturing Certificate
Knowledge & experience with Kronos and OT Tracking systems
Proficient with Maximo
Familiar with Cutting tool applications and CNC Grinding
