About the Role
As a Class B Route Driver for Dairy Farmers of America, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering dairy products to customers across the region. You will interact with customers, maintain accurate records of your activities, and perform routine vehicle maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dairy products to customers in a timely and safe manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and interact with customers in a professional manner
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any issues to the supervisor
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Hold a valid Class B CDL with air brakes and a clean driving record
- Have a minimum of six months of experience as a commercial driver
- Be able to lift up to 55 pounds and push/pull equipment
- Pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks
- Be at least 21 years old and able to read, write, and communicate in English
