We are seeking a skilled Dairy Farm Refrigeration Specialist to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing daily leadership and guidance to refrigeration maintenance staff and assisting the supervisor in directing work activities and resources.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall system functionality of our facility's ammonia refrigeration system. You will install and repair industrial and commercial refrigerating systems according to blueprints and engineering specifications, using your knowledge of refrigeration, structural layout, and function and design of components. Additionally, you will demonstrate mastery of all job functions in the maintenance area/department, train and mentor team members, and assign daily jobs and work orders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
We are looking for a candidate with 4 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration systems or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, coupled with demonstrated leadership attributes or team leadership experience. Your thorough knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems, leadership qualities, and ability to work in collaboration effectively will make you a strong fit for this role.
