What are the responsibilities and job description for the Milk Receiver Operator position at Dairy Farmers of America?
Job Summary
Cumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for a Receiver team member to perform an array of functions including all duties related to receiving bulk tankers and transferring raw liquid ingredients from the tanker trucks into the proper storage tanks. The Receiver will be responsible for monitoring, documenting, and recording raw liquid ingredient levels into inventory with a heavy emphasis on quality of product being received while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicating effectively with all departments to insure smooth operation of facility.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Six months related experience and or training required
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal
- Must be able to read, speak, and write in English
- Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping
- Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift
- Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds, with capabilities to lift 50 pounds
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
