About the Job
We are looking for a Part-Time Driver to join our team who can operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations, and policies. This role requires a current CDL (Class A) in the state of residence, as well as a tanker endorsement.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Driver Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience, be at least 21 years of age, and meet all DOT requirements.
- Transportation Duties: Transport raw milk from farm to processing plant or trucking terminal, follow dispatch schedule and directions from dispatch and location supervisory personnel, and maintain positive communications with producers and customers.
- Additional Responsibilities: Maintain tractor and trailer in good working condition, take quality and control samples at farms, and measure milk loaded into trailers to ensure accurate volume and weight measurements.
