Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Administer weekly payroll
Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrived
Greet visitors and maintain visitor logbook
Perform various Human Resource duties
Execute recruitment for all non-exempt plant staffing; resume screening, scheduling interviews, reference checks, ensuring completion of background checks / testing, etc.
Facilitate the new hire onboarding process for employees
Coordinate new employee orientation for new hires; ensure new hire paperwork is complete including tax documents, I-9, E-verify, etc.
Maintain OSHA 300 logs
Administrative maintenance of EHS Dashboard
File worker’s comp and OSHA reports as accidents occur in the workplace. Follow up from beginning to end with all pertinent detail regarding each incident
Monitor DairyU Trainings for compliance
Maintain training sheets
Maintain employee personnel files, recruiting documentation, employment verification, benefits information and other documentation as required; track and follow-up on any missing documentation as needed
Schedule plant tours, arrange meetings, and facilitate various plant activities
Follow all DFA GMPs and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgement
Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety, and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity
Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)

Requirements
High school education or equivalent experience
Some college preferred
