- Operates a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices
- Following dispatch schedule and directions from dispatch and location supervisory personnel, travels to location to transport raw milk
- Takes measures to minimize truck idle times and conserve fuel consumption
- Verify proper documentation (Load number / Seal numbers / etc.) to validate load delivery and destination.
- Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble trailer pumps to maintain proper cleanliness at a food grade level.
- Always represents DFA positively and professionally during interactions with customers, or regulatory personnel

- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent Preferred
- Must have a current CDL (Class A) in state of residence.
- Must have, or be able to obtain, a tanker endorsement.
- Minimum of 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience (military experience does count towards this requirement)
- In lieu of 1-year verifiable driving experience, driver applicants may have successfully graduated from a FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training certified driving school.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must meet all DOT requirements.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of DOT procedures, rules, and requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language both orally and in writing
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to read and record accurate volume and weight measurement
- Good organization and record keeping skills
