Field Service Dairy Technician

Established Dairy supply company looking for a capable onsite service technician. The right candidate will be self-motivated and eager to work in a fast-paced team environment. Willing to go the extra mile to exceed customer satisfaction, is familiar with working in a service environment. Is responsible to work effectively on their own or in a team.

Will work on various types of equipment and tooling, with the need for items to be repaired and/or replaced. Normal working hours are 7AM to 3:30PM. The various duties and responsibilities required to be carried out by a field service technician are as follows:

• Test and repair equipment by travelling to the customer locations.
• Provide troubleshooting to ensure the proper performance of equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Assist or solely perform basic installations and set up of new customers.
• Attending to the needs of the customer whenever required
• Ability to clearly communicate to the customer and/or personnel troubleshooting techniques over the phone to quickly resolve issues.
• Must be able to work autonomously with little oversight.
• Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Able to maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Ability to manage, schedule, and priority service needs.
• Understand basic inventory management responsibilities.
• Potential for growth into a management role.
• Assist in safety processes and procedures.
