What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Worker- 2nd Shift position at Dairy Maid Dairy?
Perform the duties required to ensure that assigned area is sanitary and clean. This includes but is not limited to removing trash and / or recycling from the plant and placing in designated location and dumping product waste into Tank 18 (waste tank)
Rework designated product as needed and complete and maintain all records as required
Assist the Half Gallon filler when time for boxing
Stock the lines with caps, labels, and / or cartons to help improve filler efficiencies
Carry out cleaning tasks from the Master Sanitation Sheet, or MSS, as instructed
Ensure that employee lunchroom and bathrooms are well maintained, including stocking of necessary items
Inspect wall mounted bins daily to make certain that all PPE and GMP requirements can be met by associates. This includes but is not limited to earplugs, beard / hairnets, soap dispensers, paper towels, and hand sanitizers
Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive
Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment
Attend required training, including but not limited to Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)
Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Certification and / or License - None
