WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Following Dairy Queen’s training of standards, you will ensure that Fan service in all areas meets or exceeds company standards which includes proactively increasing the speed of service and reducing bottlenecks as well as creating a work culture that drives Fan engagement and enjoyment.
- Maintain and drive high standards and expectations around food quality, customer service, food safety, and store cleanliness by empowering teams you interact.
- Acting as a leader, you will have the ability and desire to perform every job in the restaurant including the ability to train your team to play each role with accuracy and meeting Dairy Queen’s standards of excellence
- You will be held accountable for the restaurant’s profit and loss including optimizing sales and making adjustments as necessary to improve the profitability of the restaurant.
- To drive sales and increase Fan loyalty, you will be responsible for implementing internal strategies as well as marketing strategies to encourage expanded average meal checks as well as the frequency of fan visits.
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of the menu and food quality standards, you will be able to recognize when orders or quality are not at company standards and will immediately remedy and retrain if necessary.
- Creating a work culture that empowers the staff and demonstrates appreciation for their efforts and contributions as well as clearly and consistently communicating with restaurant and corporate staff.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- At least 3-5 years of general management experience in a similar style of restaurant (Fast Food)
- Demonstrated knowledge of the fast food industry including the ability to manage active processes, drive revenues and proactively troubleshoot
- Passion for encouraging a culture that appreciates its staff and empowers them to work and serve successfully
- Proven track record of success in managing a restaurant including hiring, coaching the team and meeting and exceeding standards and expectations
- Technical Savvy including the ability to utilize various computer systems and company software
- Must have at least an Associate’s Degree. Mixed education and experience will be considered

Salary commensurate with experience.
- All candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check and have a stable and valid work history.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
