Cake Decorator

Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with experience in food preparation and customer service. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious cakes for various occasions, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. All Cakes are made with only soft serve, so no baking is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Prepare frosting, and other necessary components for cake decoration.
• Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and airbrushing.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production of cakes for orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area and kitchen equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies needed for cake production.
• Participate in catering events as needed, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cake decorating or a related field such as pastry or food production.
• Strong skills in food preparation and knowledge of baking techniques.
• Familiarity with kitchen tools, including knives and decorating equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a creative flair for design.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
