We are looking for Retail Sales Associates to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify customer needs, answer questions about our products and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct customers
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Stay up-to-date with new products and promotions
- Upsell to customers through recommendations
- Organize merchandise on shelves and restock them when they become low or empty
- Ability to use cash register, accurately processing cash, check, credit card payments, returns, and exchanges
- Assist in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor
- Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times
- Perform routine inventory counts
- Carry out other store administrative tasks as directed by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager
- Store Opening/Closing responsibilities
Qualifications:
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role
Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
Basic math skills
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
Physical work including lifting to 40lbs, moving on your feet for extended periods, receiving and sorting shipments
Enjoy a team environment
Positive attitude, dependability, and punctuality is a must
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
An interest in DAISO products and company is a PLUS
