Job Description
This is a temporary assignment - circa 6 months.
Salary: Circa £85,000 per annum DoE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)
Location: Hybrid Working, occasional travel to Nelson, Lancashire
Key Responsibilities:
- Month end general ledger close and monthly management accounts submission to investors.
- Variance analysis v forecast and budget.
- Liaison with commercial finance areas regarding revenues and margins.
- Cash management and forecasting – supplier payment management.
- Capex business cases.
- EBITDA to Free Cash Flow analysis and improvement in working capital.
- Accounts Payable.
- Overheads and cost centre control including cost centre owner reviews.
- Operation of 3rd party commission and staff commission schemes.
- Owner of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Statutory accounts and tax workings preparation, VAT submission.
- External and internal audit liaison.
- Net debt and covenant calculations.
- Accounting for acquisitions and legal drafting.
- Accounting Process Improvement.
Qualifications
- Qualified ACA or ACCA equivalent with at least 5 years post qualification experience.
- Ideally with telecommunications and technology sector experience although not essential.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience of process improvement.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Communicate well with both internal and external customers.
- Team management of c. 10 employees.
