Position Summary:
This position includes accounts payable processing inclusive of computing sales tax, check and wire payments, vendor boarding, vendor master review, employee expense reports, journal entries, various reconciliations, invoice library maintenance, payment library maintenance, monthly/annual closings/Tax (1099s) and others. Proven ability to prioritize and multitask while being reliable and precise. This position has regular contact with department heads and vendors to clarify instructions/resolve problems, research and provide explanations when questions arise. Knowledge of Concur and JD Edwards A/P and Procurement is a plus. This position is a non-exempt role and eligible for overtime.
Core Responsibilities:
- Boarding of new and or existing vendors
- Review and processing of Employee Expense Reports
- Accounts Payable Invoice & Payment Processing and related digital library maintenance
- Other duties include month-end journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, preparing ad hoc payment or invoice analysis(s)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Associates or B.S in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Other relevant experience
- 5-10 years full-time experience working in Accounts Payable
- Skills/experience with the Microsoft Suite specifically Excel. Knowledge and experience with related accounts payable, accounting processes and related technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication as well as organization skills.
- Knowledge of Concur and JD Edwards A/P and Procurement is a plus.
