Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Brake Press Team Lead to join our manufacturing plant. The Brake Press Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating brake press operations, ensuring the quality, efficiency, and safety of all brake press processes. This position requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in welding, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of brake press operators, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
- Coordinate daily brake press activities, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, and monitoring progress to meet production targets.
- Train and mentor brake press team members on proper bending techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
- Conduct regular inspections of brake press equipment, tools, and materials to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
- Monitor brake press processes to maintain quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and production, to address brake press-related issues and optimize production processes.
- Maintain accurate records of brake press activities, including production reports, quality inspections, and inventory levels.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in fabrication is preferred.
- Proven experience in brake press operations.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role preferred.
- Strong understanding of brake press equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
