Fabrication Production Supervisor

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fabrication Production Supervisor

to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership

skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and

efficiency in our production processes. As a Fabrication Production Supervisor, you will be

responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of production workers, ensuring that

production targets are met and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, including assigning tasks,
  
  

monitoring progress and providing guidance and support as needed.

• Ensure that production schedules are met and that production targets are achieved
  
  

within established timelines and quality standards.

• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to safety, quality
  
  

control, and production efficiency.

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning
  
  

and identify any maintenance or repair needs.

• Train new employees on production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards,
  
  

and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing staff.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure that
  
  

materials and components are available for production as needed.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality assurance, and
  
  

maintenance, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production output, quality
  
  

control data, and employee attendance and performance.

• Lead by example in promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous
  
  

improvement among production staff.

• Conduct performance evaluations for production workers and provide feedback on
  
  

areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Fabrication environment, with at least 2
  
  

years in a supervisory or leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools, with a focus on
  
  

lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a
  
  

team to achieve common goals.

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound decisions under
  
  

pressure.

• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing
  
  

software applications.

• Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively
  
  

communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing
  
  

priorities and deadlines.

• Must have five years of experience in both press operation and laser operation.
