We are currently seeking full-time Education Support Specialists to join our team. This is a full-time, year-round position.
What you will do : As an Education Support Specialist, you will organize and respond to the needs of youth to ensure communication, safety, schedule coordination, and staffing is arranged. This position will ensure a positive environment that promotes and enhances the learning of youth and staff, and bridges communication between residential, education and clinical departments. This is a full-time, year-round position that will be active in Empower and provides cottage assistance to programming during school breaks and summer months.
Purpose
You recognize our kids by their strengths and do not judge or interact with them based on their history or behavior.
- Coordinate residential treatment specialist duties / tasks during school year and summer school to meet the needs of youth.
- Shares relevant safety and educational updates with Direct Care Staff for all clients, including Day Program youth.
- Participates in supervision of clients and the implementation of Youth Programming
- Provides relevant updates to school staff in alignment with Ranch Trauma Informed Care focus
- Ensures completion of documentation and reports
