We are currently seeking a Full-Time Care Coordinator on the Minot Campus!

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 p.m. with travel required

Pay : $22 , DOE and licensure

What you will do : You get to connect with youth and families served by Ranch programs, providing support from admission to the residential program through at least six months after discharge. You will provide prevention care to youth and families prior to even being placed in a residential placement as an alternative and less restrictive intervention by providing support and services in the home and community.

Purpose

You recognize our kids by their strengths and do not judge or interact with them based on their history or behavior.

Assisting in connecting families to resources such as training and services to ensure the voice of the youth and family is part of the multidisciplinary team
Provide services to encourage education, empowerment, rebuilding of natural supports, and future self-sufficiency in an environment that is comfortable and chosen by the families served

Caring

You create a warm, welcoming environment that provides a safe place for kids to grow and learn.

Provide parents with knowledge and confidence to plan and advocate for their child and eventually help other families in the community. To provide a voice for making positive changes to the system of care

Be an ambassador of the program to be able to inform and educate both internal and external stakeholders on the benefits of aftercare

Reduce out-of-home placement and reduce juvenile justice involvement through community-based alternatives and positive youth / family development opportunities, with a particular focus on minority youth

Learning

You evaluate our programs, attend training, and integrate new practices to ensure our kids and families receive the best care we can provide.

Establish family and community integration goals

Attend meetings with families and youth for support

Minimum qualifications / education :

Have a college bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field (ie sociology, social work, psychology, anthropology, etc) or

Have a High School Diploma with at least four years of experience working with children and families and have the competencies required by the facility to engage with children / families

A master's degree may substitute for years of experience

Degree in social work is preferred; extra consideration given for licensed social workers

Must be 21 or older at the time of application. High school diploma or equivalent

Must pass a background check, including criminal, abuse

Must have a driver's license and ability to be insured to drive a Ranch vehicle

This position requires frequent travel; primarily between Minot and Devils Lake, ND, area
