Dakota County is currently seeking temporary staff to work as a team to transport and set up our Mobile Trailer at Community Vaccine Clinics. One staff person will drive the truck and trailer while the other helps to spot, setup and take down equipment at the site. Both staff will be paid for the hours worked for transport and the clinic hours. Staff may be asked to pick up and return clinic supplies to the Western Service Center office before and after a clinic, as well as providing general support assistance during clinic.
Position is expected to be 6-8 hours every other week. We anticipate that this position will begin in May and run through September. The vaccine clinics will be set so candidates will know their expected workdays in advance.

2. Set up & take down Mobile Clinic Trailer at the site.
3. Return the Mobile Clinic Trailer to the Empire Transportation Facility.
4. Set up and take down tables, chairs and tents.
5. Collect prepared clinic materials from set location and return materials after clinic completion.
6. Follow Instructions given by Fleet Staff on operations of trailer and setup needs and on-site Public Health Staff.• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
• Knowledge and ability to drive larger vehicle with enclosed trailer
• Knowledge and ability to backup and maneuver truck and trailer in various settings.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is sedentary while driving the truck and trailer, but involves lifting and setup of the trailer and associated clinic materials (tables, chairs, small tents).
SELECTION PROCESS: The examination/selection process for this classification will consist of a screening of minimum qualifications and a short interview to determine qualification of candidates. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal and driving background and drug test.

NEED TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience driving larger pickup or similar vehicle (E.g. Ford F350 or firetruck); AND
- Experience pulling, maneuvering, and parking a 26 foot pull behind enclosed trailer (or similar).
OR
- Ability to assist the driver by following the truck/trailer, help navigate the parking of the trailer once onsite, and set up the trailer.
- Valid Driver's License
