Location & Schedule
This position primarily works out of the Northern Service Center in West St. Paul, MN. This position will also complete some work out of the Western Service Center (Apple Valley, MN). Work is mainly performed Monday through Friday during regular business hours (8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.). Some early evening hours may be required to assist with evening clinics.
What You'll Do
This position will support Public Health programs by providing a variety of highly skilled administrative functions and tasks under limited supervision. The primary duties of this position include greeting clients and answering phones at the Public Health front desk. Other assignments may include processing program mailings, and document management. The successful candidate will have a positive and resilient attitude, be organized, reliable, and have strong attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
NEED TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree in business administration, human services or related field AND One year of progressively responsible administrative experience in an office environment;
- High School Diploma AND Three (3) years of administrative experience in an office environment;
- Typing ability of at least 45 wpm

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work is performed in a County office building. Some of the work is sedentary and may have extensive use of computer. Incumbents may need to lift up to twenty pounds on an occasional basis. Travel may be required for some departments.
