Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Engraving and Sandblasting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sandblasting equipment, and stone. You will be responsible for creating precise and aesthetically pleasing designs and inscriptions as per client specifications.

Duties

- Operate engraving machines and sandblasting equipment to etch designs, logos, and text onto various surfaces.

- Review and interpret design files, sketches, or specifications to ensure accuracy in the final product.

- Prepare materials by cleaning and masking surfaces for sandblasting or engraving.

- Set up and calibrate engraving tools and sandblasting machines according to the material and design requirements.

- Perform quality control checks to ensure the engraved or sandblasted product meets client standards.

- Maintain and clean equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.

- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear when operating machinery.

- Collaborate with design teams, clients, or project managers to ensure design accuracy.

- Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

- Record and report any defects or issues with equipment or materials.

Skills

- Proven experience in engraving, sandblasting, or related fields.

- Ability to operate sandblasting equipment.

- Strong attention to detail and precision in executing designs.

- Familiarity with software programs used for creating engraving or sandblasting templates

- Ability to work with Stone materials

- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

- Physical ability to handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods.

- Strong knowledge of safety procedures in handling machinery and working with abrasive materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification or formal training in engraving or sandblasting.

- Experience working in manufacturing or production environments.

- Knowledge of material properties and how they respond to engraving or sandblasting techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• manufacturing or production: 1 year (Preferred)
• sandblasting or engraving: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Milbank, SD 57252: Relocate before starting work (Required)
