This is a temporary position with an estimated end date of May 16, 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients
- Ensure proper patient identification and labeling of specimens
- Follow aseptic techniques and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Provide excellent patient service and ensure patient comfort during the phlebotomy process
- Adhere to laboratory procedures and protocols for specimen collection and processing
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy in specimen collection and labeling
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques and specimen handling procedures
Phlebotony Experience Required.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
