DSU is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Online Admissions Counselor. As an essential member of our admissions department, you will play a crucial role in attracting and guiding prospective online students through the stages of admission to enrollment. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a student-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Guide prospective students through the various stages of the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, providing them with accurate and timely information about our programs, admission requirements, and enrollment procedures.
• Create comprehensive communication plans tailored to specific target audiences, including prospective students, parents, and educational advisors. Utilize various communication channels such as email, phone calls, social media, and live chat to engage with prospective students and provide personalized guidance.
• Organize and conduct virtual information sessions, campus tours, and registration appointments for prospective students. Utilize video conferencing and virtual platforms to deliver engaging and interactive sessions, answering questions, addressing concerns, and assisting with the registration process.
• Maintain accurate records of prospective students, inquiries, applications, and admissions data using our CRM system.
• Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for online students who have been admitted and are in the process of registration. Provide them with guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition from admission to enrollment, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
