Dakota State University (DSU) is seeking a dynamic and innovative educator for a tenure-track, full-time (9-month), benefits-eligible position as an Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology in the College of Education & Human Performance. This position offers the opportunity to teach and inspire students across various psychology and education courses while engaging in impactful research and service.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will contribute to DSU’s tradition of excellence in education by teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Educational Psychology, Lifespan Development, General Psychology, and Abnormal Behavior. In addition to teaching, this position involves engaging in research, seeking external funding opportunities, and contributing to the university’s service and outreach efforts.
Start Date Fall 2025
Required Qualifications :
- Earned doctorate in education or a closely related field. ABD candidates may be considered, with the expectation that a terminal degree must be completed within two years.
- Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and graduate students effectively.
- Potential to develop a strong and active research agenda.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary : $61,500 - $63,500
