Production Specialist 2nd Shift

We manufacture metal building components from our two facilities in South Dakota and Minnesota. At our Canton, SD location, we are searching for a 2nd Shift Production Specialist to join the team! **2nd shift operates Monday thru Friday, 3:30pm to midnight**

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• A Production Team Member's primary responsibility is the operation of machines as assigned, including roll formers, press brakes, slitters, and forklifts.
• This includes manufacturing, handling, and loading material such as panels, trims, and fasteners to complete customer orders and maintain inventory count.
• This position can be physically demanding. It may require lifting of items up to 50 lbs. and will require you to use a forklift regularly. It also requires frequent bending, stooping and twisting as well as standing for the duration of the shift. PPE is company-provided (safety glasses, gloves, and sleeves) with a reimbursement on safety-toe shoes.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• A successful Production Team Member will have basic mathematical skills, be a team player, and have a desire to continuously learn.
• The ability to stand/walk on concrete floors for 8 hours a day is required. If you can drive a forklift, that is a plus!
• Candidates must be 18 yrs or older
