DSG is seeking a Plumbing Counter Sales Associate in our Plymouth, MN location. In this full time, hourly position, work is typically performed between the hours of 8 am and 5pm, Monday through Friday , but may vary on occasion according to business needs. As a Counter Sales Associate, you will assist customers at the City Desk with order placement and fulfillment , as well as assisting in all aspects of warehouse duties as needed.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Plumbing Counter Sales Associate :
Serve as the primary facilitator for customer orders made at the City DeskAssist customers in a professional manner with product inquiriesWrite (and occasionally fill) orders accurately and in a timely mannerGenerate customer quotations and follow up as necessaryProvide trouble-shooting and technical supportWork with other sales team members to resolve customer service issuesRestock the counter area according to product brand and locationMonitor product inventory and cull damaged productMaintain a clean and appealing counter display areaIdentify and encourage the sale of additional products as applicablePerform other duties as assignedA Successful Plumbing Counter Sales Associate Typically Has :
Product and technical knowledge normally acquired in two or more years of college or technical school OR 3-5 years field experience in the residential / commercial applications of plumbingproducts.Excellent relationship building skills.Outstanding interpersonal, customer service and communication skills across a variety of settings (in-person, phone, and email).Strong attention to detail, paired with the ability to multi-task.A knack for active listening to determine customer needs.Superior problem solving, project management, and analytical skills.A high proficiency with computers – experience in Eclipse or other ERP systems preferred.The ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively.At DSG, We Offer Benefits Built for You :
