Position Description:
All client relationships are handled on a team basis, and the Associate Advisor is a key member of the team. The Associate Advisor supports the Senior Wealth Manager with all aspects of wealth management, including resolving client requests, data gathering and analysis, financial planning and portfolio reviews, meeting preparation, client communication, client account maintenance, money movement, researching investments, and implementation of recommendations. Additionally, the Associate Advisor will participate in client meetings and in business development activities to attract prospects. This position reports directly to, Marilyn Rios.
This position requires adherence to well-defined work where repeatable results are needed. The work is highly precise in nature and requires a strong attention to detail. It is vital for the work output of consistent high quality. The role requires the individual to lead by example, with first-hand knowledge of the areas of expertise. Strong, friendly follow-up is necessary on delegated tasks to ensure proper results.
Primary Objectives:
• Ensure the advisor team is fully supported and running smoothly
• Optimize client-facing functionality
• Organize centralized support, as needed, to ensure smooth running client-facing activities
Major Areas of Responsibility:
• Assist with planning and coordinating client scheduling arrangements
• Assist with client requests including onboarding, portfolio alignment, money movement and other support tasks.
• Responsible for advisor team meeting accompanying materials, inclusive of attendance at all client meetings.
• Prepare client meeting collateral pieces
• Prepare detailed financial plans
• Maintain client meeting notes, and activities in the CRM system, inclusive of follow up task items.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of three years of experience in the financial services industry
• S65 License or appropriate designation to waive examination
• Experience on custodian platforms, portfolio management systems, CRM, trading processes.
• Analytical skills to prepare and assess client financial statements, plans, and investments
• Ability to produce precise, high-quality work with attention to detail.
• Effective time management skills
• Excellent follow up
• Professional and proactive work ethic
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Willingness to jump in and roll up your sleeves to help when necessary
Compensation
• Annual salary is negotiable
• Annual discretionary bonus
Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
