Dakotaland Feeds, LLC is a livestock feed manufacturer and distributor headquartered in Huron, South Dakota, that also operates four company owned retail locations. The company manufactures and distributes dry and liquid feeds, minerals, tubs, and other feed products and merchandises co-products from surrounding ethanol plants. Dakotaland Feeds, LLC strives to achieve the most efficient methods to distribute livestock feed throughout geography served by its cooperative owners. The key to the company’s success is its superior customer service oriented sales and support staff who go the extra mile to serve the needs of its farmer-producers and dealer partners.
Position Purpose:
Dakotaland Feeds is in search of a Feed Consultant to establish solid relationships with current and prospective customers to grow the feed business in North Central South Dakota. The applicant must have strong social skills and can work independently with drive and passion to grow business. As a Feed Consultant you will be accountable to develop rations that best fit the customers operation, along with building relationships and growing the business.
Qualifications
Experience-Education:
Bachelor’s or Technical degree in Animal Science, Ag Business or related field with relevant experience.

-Must be able to make quick decisions on the spot & support those decisions to your peers, employees, and leadership
-Ability to consistently meet deadlines

Experience-Education (Preferred):
Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science or relevant experience
Experience in sales and or feed manufacturing.
Competencies-Skills (Preferred):
Farm and livestock experience or background
