Top Engineering firm is Maryland are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and directing various project design and documentation tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and direct reporting of existing conditions and construction progress
• Collect and/or assemble complex project data
• Direct project design, including engineering calculations and computer design software usage
• Prepare complex project documents, such as specifications and bid documents
• Review and mark up full plan sets to ensure accuracy of the design
• Understand and improve customer service by meeting customers' needs and expectations
• Communicate with clients, officials, and contractors through telephone calls and correspondence
• Contribute to project documentation, shop drawings reviews, and budgeting
• Provide suggestions on business development and follow up on qualifying leads
• Prepare project proposals and assist with maintaining good client relations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree and P.E. license
• 10 years of design experience or equivalent combination of design experience and undergraduate level education

Day-to-day

The Senior Electrical Engineer will work on a variety of tasks including project design, documentation, and communication with clients and contractors. They will also contribute to project budgeting and business development efforts, ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget and schedule. Additionally, the Engineer will play a key role in maintaining good client relations and preparing project proposals.
