Overview
A Global Design firm are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join their dynamic Mission Critical team. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of engineering practices and principles in their discipline, along with the ability to conceptualize and develop solutions for multifaceted systems. The candidate should also possess strong communication skills, the ability to write comprehensive reports, and adept problem-solving capabilities. This role requires the candidate to independently resolve complex problems within the engineer’s discipline.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of engineering practices and principles in the mechanical discipline
- Conceptualize and develop solutions for multifaceted systems and interactions with varied disparate components
- Effectively convey scope, schedule, and budget to clients, co-workers, and technical teams
- Write comprehensive reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals
- Analyze, problem solve, and train others within the team
- Independently resolve complex problems within the mechanical engineering discipline
Qualifications
- Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years of related industry experience preferred
- Mission Critical Data Center design experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
