The Maintenance Technician V will be responsible for performing complex mechanical duties and electrical trade functions in the installation, maintenance, repair and distribution of electrical energy. This includes installing, maintaining, and replacing electronic programmable controllers in a manufacturing environment.
This role requires troubleshooting PLCs using hand-held devices or laptops, designing and redesigning programs and software (PLCs, operator panels, etc.), formatting hard drives, and installing them on computers.
The Maintenance Technician V will also install, maintain, or repair equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electrical energy in a manufacturing environment.
This individual must be able to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Journeyman electrical license preferred
- Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred
- 5 years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years industrial electrical experience
- Formal PCL training preferred
