Job Responsibilities:
- Smile and make all customers feel welcome by using customer's name and/or a friendly greeting.
- Respond quickly and graciously to customer needs and requests such as price checks or carry-outs.
- Thoroughly understand and proficiently process all POS procedures including gift cards, bank cards, coupon redemption (manufacture and in store), check payments, ROA's and special orders.
- Efficiently handle phone calls, pages over PA system and able to monitor calls being on hold.
- Respect the customer's time by offering to take messages or transfer to voice mail instead of placing a call on hold. Offer to make keys while customer shops.
- Monitor shopping carts and basket levels to ensure they are easily available for customer convenience.
- Follow all procedures related to key cutting.
- Thank the customer for shopping with us and give them the feeling we appreciate their business.

- Prior customer service experience, preferably in a retail hardware store or other hardware related industry
