Responsible for the insurance billing process between the physician billing office and insurance companies, federal agencies and third-party payers. Audits patient accounts to ensure procedure, charges and coding accuracy. Collects payments form commercial insurance companies, state and federal agencies.
2-3 years medical practice billing or insurance experience preferred.
Certification in coding is also preferred.
