Description:
This plays a key role in forecasting resource demand and supply, ensuring alignment with R&D portfolio priorities. This position partners with Finance and Functional Leads to drive data-informed decision-making, enhance workforce planning efficiency, and maintain resource allocation transparency. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in resource planning, and a strategic mindset to optimize R&D operations.
- Resource Forecasting & Portfolio Management
- Manage functional resource forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Support functional leads in conducting resource demand vs. supply analysis to anticipate workforce needs.
- Assist in scenario modeling to evaluate the impact of portfolio shifts on resource allocations.
- Operational Efficiency & System Management
- Oversee data accuracy within resource planning tools (e.g., Planisware or other relevant software).
- Collaborate with Finance and Portfolio teams to ensure resource planning aligns with budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Maintain standardized reporting templates and dashboards to provide real-time resource insights.
- Experience in R&D, portfolio planning, or clinical development.
- Proficiency in resource management software (Planisware preferred) and/or advanced Excel/Tableau skills.
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and ability to interpret complex data into business insights.
- Ideal Candidate: 4-6 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 1 year of workforce planning experience in the pharmaceutical industry. A successful candidate would have some experience in resource algorithm development and deployment.
