In need of a passionate Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and play a key role in developing the internal SRE capabilities and framework. You will be instrumental in transferring knowledge and empowering teams to take ownership of their SLIs, SLOs, and overall reliability practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement SRE capabilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide SRE framework.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance their SRE knowledge and practices.
- Foster a culture of shared responsibility for system reliability across the organization.
- Knowledge Transfer and Framework Development:
- Design and deliver training programs on SLI/SLO definition and implementation.
- Assist teams in formulating questions, developing SLIs, and translating them into meaningful SLOs.
- Document and share best practices for effective incident management and root cause analysis.
- Cloud Architecture & Solution Design:
- Review and provide feedback on existing and proposed cloud architectures.
- Identify opportunities to improve the resilience and cost-effectiveness of infrastructure solutions.
- Utilize your AWS knowledge to recommend best-fit services and optimize resource utilization.
- Strong understanding of SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Experience in designing and implementing monitoring solutions like Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Knowledge of containerized technologies and basic Linux administration is a plus.
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and enterprise applications (e.g., SAP) is beneficial.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
