Business Process Analyst – Woburn, MA

We are looking for a Business Process Analyst to join a Fortune 500 company in Woburn, MA. This role within the Global Finance organization will focus on evaluating and optimizing financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness. The Business Process Analyst will collaborate with various teams to document, analyze, and enhance financial workflows, ensuring alignment with the company’s transformation objectives.

This is a 5-month contract offering up to $40/hr (based on experience) for a 40-hour work week. The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring onsite presence three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing financial processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions such as automation or workflow enhancements.
• Leverage data-driven insights to assess performance, conduct root cause analysis, and track the impact of process changes.
• Collaborate with finance teams to map out current workflows and document process improvements.
• Assist in planning and executing finance-related projects, including drafting project charters and coordinating with key stakeholders.
• Partner with process owners to provide training on new procedures and support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in process improvement, finance operations, or similar roles.
• Strong expertise in process mapping, data analysis, and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
