A local construction company is seeking a Controller to who will oversee all accounting and finance operations. This is a leadership role that plays an important part in strategic decision-making for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports to management
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Lead internal and external audits
- Establish and enforce internal controls
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and ensure effective treasury operations
- Collaborate with executive leadership to provide insights and recommendations for financial strategy and decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 7 years of accounting experience
- Construction industry experience is a plus!
