Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Our client, a private diagnostic radiology practice in Manhattan specializing in a wide range of imaging modalities is currently seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join their team. This person will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the ultrasound examination process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures (General, OBGYN, Small Parts, Vascular) and invasive ultrasound guided procedures .
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the ultrasound examination process.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition. Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both with patients and within the team.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and practices.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through active participation in team meetings and initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Registered by the ARDMS and 2 years of hands-on experience performing ultrasounds.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of ultrasound equipment and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Commitment to patient care and safety.
  
  

Pay Range: $50-$60/hr , depending on experience
