This role ensures accurate trade processing and position maintenance for the firm’s direct public market activity. Responsibilities include overseeing the fund administrator’s trade/payment processing and record-keeping, as well as confirming, settling, reconciling, and analyzing daily trade activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage investment operations for public market assets (equities, bonds, TIPs, REPOs, OTC swaps, futures, FX, FX options, digital assets).
- Lead and mentor a small team.
- Oversee fund admin in daily pricing, collateral management, reconciliations, settlements, and wire approvals.
- Handle liquidation of public stock distributions from PE/VC fund vehicles.
- Optimize processes and controls for efficiency.
- Maintain relationships with fund admins, custodians, brokers, and service providers.
- Support trading and investment teams in public market activities.
- Develop operational capabilities for new asset classes and markets.
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- 10 years in investment operations at an asset manager, fund administrator, or custodian bank.
- Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, futures, OTC derivatives, digital assets, and FX operations.
- Proficiency in investment accounting software.
- Strong tech skills, including advanced Excel; Power BI/AI tools a plus.
- Experience with Citco’s Aexeo, Bloomberg AIM, DTCC CTM, MarkitServ, and custodian/prime broker platforms preferred.
