Director of Revenue Cycle

A growing health care services company based north of Boston is seeking an experienced revenue accounting professional to join their finance team as a Director of Revenue Cycle Management. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the revenue cycle function for the company. This is a hybrid opportunity.

The company is willing to pay a salary range of $130k-$160k plus bonus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop a comprehensive strategy to respond to current and future challenges presented by legislation and compliance in order to monitor and address changing revenue cycle practices
• Maintains functional accountability for the insurance claim function which includes: monitoring the status of claims and denials management
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing rendered patient services and reimbursement
• Manage the relationship with outsourced billing partner to ensure accuracy and efficiency of claims handled via third party.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting to the finance team to support the month-end close process.
• Collaborate with the corporate team to establish and drive departmental and organizational key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards around revenue cycle operations.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Accounting, Health Management or related field
• At least ten years of experience in billing or revenue cycle operations
• Minimum of two years of behavioral health treatment experience required
• Minimum of two years of physician practice billing preferred
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience including hiring, training and evaluation of direct reports
• EHR and/or billing software experience required.
