Finance Process Analyst - Burlington, MA

We are seeking a Finance Process Analyst to join a Fortune 500 company in Burlington, MA. This role within the Global Finance organization will focus on assessing and improving financial processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to document, analyze, and refine workflows, ensuring alignment with the company’s transformation goals.

This is a 5-month contract paying up to $40/hr (based on experience) for a 40-hour workweek. The position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring on-site presence three days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess current finance processes, identifying performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Work with process owners and subject matter experts to document workflows.
• Measure and report on process performance, ensuring alignment with Global Finance Transformation goals.
• Propose process enhancements, including workflow adjustments, automation, and best practices.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring process improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and track changes.
• Support project leads with planning, execution, and development of project charters.
• Provide training and support on new processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in process improvement or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent process mapping and modeling abilities.
• Data-driven decision-making approach.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) preferred.
