Finance Transformation Manager
We are currently seeking candidates for a Finance Transformation Manager to join a Fortune 500 company in Burlington, MA. This role is essential in driving the successful execution of the Global Finance Transformation roadmap. The Finance Transformation Manager will support Finance’s Global Process Owners by overseeing projects, managing risks and issues, providing status updates, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
This is a 5-month contract position offering a pay rate of $65–68/hr (based on experience) for a 40-hour work week. The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days per week onsite at their Burlington office.

Responsibilities:
- Lead projects within the Global Finance Transformation from start to successful completion.
- Collaborate with Global Process Owners to develop project roadmaps.
- Define project objectives, scope, and effort in alignment with transformation goals.
- Assign roles, responsibilities, and authority to project team members.
- Create work plans for each project phase and coordinate the recruitment or assignment of personnel.
- Prepare and deliver status updates to working groups and Finance leadership.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget by monitoring progress.
- Identify risks and issues, and develop response plans.
- Review project proposals to assess timelines, funding limits, staffing needs, and resource allocation.
- Update the resource management system with resource allocations.
- Follow best project management practices and methodologies, such as those outlined by the Professional Management Institute.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Program Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in a project-driven environment, with a preference for experience in Finance process improvements and Finance IT projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools is required; experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse functional teams and employees at all levels to achieve results professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
